Well hello Douglas,
I have had many exchanges with the Ark, but I am very pleased to see the real guy behind the Ark. You look very relaxed and happy by the beautiful pool. I did not realize that you are writer, but I guess it comes as no great surprise. I love classical guitar, so I guess we do have some common ground.
I would like to continue are last conversation on another’s blog, but I need to know whether to do it here, or on Ark’s blog. Please advise.
Best regards,
Marc
Dear Marc,
Thanks for dropping by.
Please understand this blog is reserved solely for my writing pursuits. I do not conduct any other form of interaction and certainly not on behalf of The Ark, whom I respect but will not allow under any circumstances to hijack this blog with any of his religious stuff.
I am sure you can understand?
Feel free to give him a piece of your mind on his blog. He probably deserves it. I am led to believe he is thick-skinned, unlike me , who prefers peace and quiet.
Regards.
Douglas.
Thanks for your response Douglas. I told Ark he should spend more time with you so that he could improve his character. I may buy one of your books, in the hope that I will be entertained and able to discuss your work. I wish you all the best.
Kind regards,
Marc
Douglas, I couldn’t find a better way to contact you, thus the comment. I wanted to share a recent post about God and pain and suffering from a world renowned Christian apologist who can speak with much more eloquence than I. http://www.rzim.org/a-slice-of-infinity/god-and-pain/. I trust you’ll find it thought-provoking, at least.
Dear Jason,
Thanks for popping over.
However, this blog is reserved solely for my writing pursuits.
I never get involved in religion and will not allow Arkenaten in any way to hijack this blog with his religious stuff. I am sure you can understand?
If you wish to engage him on such topics, or give him some stick (lol) drop him a line here on his blog..

However, If you want to talk writing, feel free to hang around.
Always great to see a new face.
All the very best to you and yours.
Regards,
Douglas
Got it. Thanks!

Hello! I’m interested in buying your book. How can I go about it?
Sorry for the delay in replying…but you know why, of course.
Click on the book icon on the sidebar and you will be whisked off to my publisher’s website.
If you have any problems getting the book, let me know.
Hope it makes you smile!
Very kind of you! But I’m sure you realise this was an attempt to bring you back into Blogland, assuming that you had flounced off in a strop with it all. I figured the lure of a book sale would be too much to ignore. π Didn’t realise you were internetless. But I’ll buy it one day! Promise!!
Lure of a book sale…good grief!
How shallow do you think I am? Okay…just a bit.
Yet on the other hand I am flattered that you would sink to such despicable depths merely to get my attention.
I hope one day I am in a position to visit you, tie you up and force you to listen to me read the book – very slowly, and in a Scottish accent- cover to cover in one sitting.
π
I like the Koi. π Does the heron still visit?
Indeed he does! The dogs normally chase him away if they are in the vicinity.
